Wellness and disease prevention begins with knowledge. In this program, our team of licensed medical professionals will provide free health education and awareness specifically targeting pre and postnatal women. Since most of our beneficiaries lack formal education, literacy, and access to adequate health services, topics will include best practices for maintaining health during pregnancy, childbirth process, postpartum recovery, lactation, and newborn and infant care.
This program supports newborns whose mothers are diagnosed with lactation insufficiency and failure, and malnourished infants and children up to 5 years of age by providing them with supplemental formula and nutrition. For just $4 per unit of baby formula, you can help sustain this program overseen by dedicated physicians on the ground.
